Welcome to Sano

Sano is a latin word that means: to heal, cure, remedy, make healthy, or repair.

In 2000 I lost my mother (age 59) to renal failure caused by diabetes, this devastated me, my siblings, and our entire extended family members to our core. You expect your parents to pass, but not at such a young age. I immediately started my search to understand this disease, it wasn’t until 2008 when i watched a movie on netflix's called "The Beautiful Truth”, that i truly understood the underlying cause for all diet related chronic disease.

This lead me to the Gerson Institute and their nutritional eating regimen to reverse cancer and all other diet related chronic diseases. A few years later I came across Dr. Gabriel Cousen's book on diabetes.

It took a few years but i finally came up with a business model to operate an organization that could address the diet needs for the diabetes population.
